Chapter 50

Author's Preface

"I'm…no.t….dying yet!" the wolf howled louder, kept moving forward with a bloody torso full of holes.

"Such a stubborn creature," Lyssandra said, shaking her head, watching the beast stumble.

"Look where you are going," Luna warned the monster, giggling and pointing at the ground.

"Wha…." The Alpha lightning wolf could not finish its sentence once again.

A pit covered by grass camouflage collapsed beneath its paws, following was the heavy bulk of the victim.

"It won't die easier like that, you know," Lyssandra said to Luna as they walked casually to the edge of the pit.

"I know that, so I prepared a special gift for it under the pit," Luna replied, a mysterious smile still tugging on her face.

A pained howl erupted from below the pit, a sound of something irritated and trapped. The two women peered down the pit and saw the beast lying down in the middle of its own red blood, body covered in fresh water and many small holes.

Beside the many holes from Luna's previous skill, its fur was now soaked, and next to it, seven water slimes were squishing around. They were spurting their high-pressure jets at the dying wolf with relentless glee, turning its flesh into a watery pulp.

"Oh, they are already obeying you?" Lyssandra asked.

"Kinda, but it was mostly your effort," Luna shrugging casually. "I just mentioned your name and they would comply to my order like a servant awaiting orders."

"You did good, pet." Lyssandra jumped down into the pit, the water slimes immediately swarming her like affectionate dogs.

Some nudged at her leg, some jumped on her head, and some even crawled inside the valley between her tits.

"Enough, I have things to do. You guys wait to the side," Lyssandra chuckled while gently pushing those water slimes aside, letting them flow back to the corners.

Then she walked to the dying wolf, looking deep into its glowing, fading eyes.

"Dish…onor…. Hu-human, using only d-dir-ty tricks a..and tra-aps," the wolf stammered, its heavy breaths fogging the air.

"A monster with honor? That was the first," Lyssandra exclaimed, genuinely surprised at the display.

"Should we let it live? It seemed like a strong force if we can recruit it," Luna gave her advice.

"The Alpha lightning wolf as an ally?…." Lyssandra was deep in thought, her heel already resting on the wolf's bloodied face.

The creature still glanced at her with a strong defiance in its eyes, blood pouring profusely from many wounds.

"Nope." with a brutal, heavy force, she drove her heel deep into the creature's skull.

Her weight crushed the wolf's face into a gruesome, bloody mess of flesh. The sound of shattering bone echoed through the silence, life force was instantly snuffed out. Its eyes glazed over into a vacant, milky emptiness and the brain turned to mush.

Blood and brain matter splattered wildly across her skin, staining her clothes in a dark, gory pulp.

As the skull gave way under the pressure, one eyeball burst from its socket. The sphere shot out violently, yet it remained tenuously tethered to the head by a thin, glistening strand of the optic nerve. It wobbled precariously in the air, dripping with clear fluid and thick, red blood.

"There is only one alpha in the pack," Lyssandra wiped the red matter from her heel, leaving a wet trail on the dirt floor.

[Congratulations. You have leveled up!]

[Congratulations. You have leveled up!]

The translucent blue interface flickered brightly in Lyssandra's vision, a rewarding chime echoing in her mind. "Cool, I can select a new skill and a new feature of the system,"

[New Feature Unlocked: Relationship Tracker.]

The menu expanded, displaying a fresh panel with glowing text detailed the trust and hostility levels of those around her.

"With this, I can check the relationship of anyone I met," Lyssandra muttered, her gaze drifting immediately to Luna.

A translucent panel popped up over the water slime, showing her stats clearly.

[Relationship to Lyssandra: Pet]

[Trust: Devotion]

She scanned the list of thresholds, reading through: distrust -> tolerance -> cautious acceptance -> basic trust -> reliance -> confidence -> loyalty -> devotion.

"Full devotion so quickly? Understandable" She looked at those water slimes huddled nearby, their small, shifting bodies glistening with the blood of their kill.

Another scan activated, painting data over the swarm.

[Relationship to Lyssandra: Underlings]

[Trust: Loyalty]

"That was high for a few times met, but I'll take it," she said, satisfaction radiating from her chest. "Perhaps my dominance is already setting roots in their minds."

She looked at her stats.

She continued to navigate through the glowing menu, finger hovering over the final skill choice for level-up. This time, she chose the option she had skipped before.

[Cognitive Dominion].

The system text detailed the three levels of the skill:

Partial: Brushes the surface of the mind.

Half: Reads structured thoughts.

Full: Unveils the entirety of one's psyche.

"I can only use the first level of the skill though, but I have a perfect opportunity to test on." Lyssandra looked up at the pit's edge before jumping out.

She called over Morgana, the towering Spider Queen shifting effortlessly into her humanoid form to greet her. "Master, everything was perfectly unfolded like you had planned. We killed half of them and captured the rest."

"How about casualties?" Lyssandra asked.

"None." Morgana continued, her six eyes shimmering with pride. "We stationed on high ground above the valley and only used ranged attack. No one in our force was even injured."

"You did good." Lyssandra noded, a smile of satisfaction gracing her lips. "Now bring me a prisoner so I can question it."

Morgana released a captured lightning wolf from one of her hanging cocoons, dropping it down in front of her master.

The creature was painted red all over, though the crimson staining its black fur wasn't its own blood but that of its kin. The wolf looked out of breath, the air inside the cocoon having been tight and muggy during transporting.

"Hey, wake up, I have something to ask." Lyssandra nudged its snout with her heel.

After a few moments, its eyes groggily opened and looked around. It tried to stand up and show a courageous appearance but failed, the weaken legs buckling until it plopped down like a dead dog again.

"Is this all of your kin?" Lyssandra questioned it, her voice carrying a sharp edge.

Silence stretched between them because the lightning wolf refused to talk, refusing to even look her in the eye.

"I don't have time for this."

[Cognitive Dominion] Activate.

Lyssandra sending the skill's influence toward the beast. She closed her eyes, then opened them again to find the world around was dark, shrouded in a void of grey. A short time later, many rectangular monitors filled with blurry footage ran past like a cinematic scroll.

"I have to find what I want in this huge amount of information?" she exclaimed, but still strutted around the space, scanning the images.

Some footage was very dark and hard to see, while others were bright, full of color, and easy to identify.

"Probably the most recent memories that I can see clearly." With that assumption, she went in the opposite direction of the information flow, wading against the current.

She couldn't see the whole life of the target, only fragments of its memory scattered like shards in the void. She witnessed when it last ate, where the pack usually hunted, and even moments of raw, animalistic mating.

"Oh, this is hot!" Lyssandra looked at a specific monitor that stood out among the blur.

In the scene, not only a wolf but four were glued together in a frenzied display of primal lust.

The special thing about this scene was a female wolf being ridden from behind by three other wolves simultaneously. It was not happening in different holes but only in one single opening, its cunt swollen to an impossible degree.

The female wolf's pussy was swallowing three huge cocks inside, stretching it so wide that she could potentially put her head inside it.
