Chapter 15.1 -- Before the meeting (Part 1)
Cell Room 2-5, 2nd Floor, Detention Center, Fort Drum, New York, USA, 12 December 2020, 0750 hrs
“Wakey! Wakey! It’s already morning, and get out of the damn bed, you useless human!” Aiden shouts at Kodey while beating him with a baton.
“Argh!” Kodey cries in pain as he tries to block Sergeant Darrell’s merciless bashing with his baton attacks. “Go fuck yourself, Raven Young Templar. Just kill me already, you piece of shit.” .
“You!” Aiden’s fury increased tenfold before gripping his baton tightly, intending to deliver a powerful blow to the defying human prisoner. As Sergeant Darrell is about to strike Kodey, Sergeant Flannery stops him by holding his hand with the baton. “Hold it, Aiden. This bloody defying human won’t listen to you, no matter how many times you beat his ass. I have an idea on how to get him to follow our commands.” .
“Was part of your idea to bite him, Sally?” Aiden comments.
“It is. It’s more than just a bite. You will see.” Sally looks at Aiden with a sinister smile.
Without hesitation, she uses excessive force to pull out Kodey’s right hand and grip it firmly. “Too naughty to listen to my fellow Young Templar, isn’t it?” Sally mocks him. “Maybe I need to punish you even more harshly. Time for a blood meal.” Without hesitation, Sally bites the wrist of his right hand and drinks his blood. While drinking his blood down her throat, her fangs secrete an unknown liquid that dissolves into his blood.
“What the fuck is this?! Please stop!” Kodey screams in pain while trying to push the Raven Young Templar lady away from continuously sucking his blood.
“No point resisting, stupid human,” Aiden smirked as he forcibly turned Kodey’s face towards him. “You lost the moment she bit you for your blood.” .
“What do you mean…” Kodey struggles to finish his question as he feels his body becoming numb. Soon, his left hand stopped resisting, and he felt he couldn’t move or speak at all, as if he were not in control of his entire body.
“It’s simple. My dear friend, Sally is injecting venom into your body through her teeth that paralyse your entire body systems completely. This means that you can’t move a single muscle or utter a single word at all. However, she can control your body movements by her own will, which means you are nothing but a toy to her right now,” Aiden chuckled with evil laughter. “Her venom will last in your body systems for about two to three weeks, so you better be nice to her from now on if you want to live, stupid human.” .
At this moment, the lady Raven Young Templar let go of Kodey’s right hand after sucking his blood. “Ahh. His human blood is damn good.” Sally smiles in satisfaction. “I have never encountered such tasty human blood before in my entire Young Templar life, and I will ensure this human forever will be my blood slave. Aiden, please pass me some tissues.” .
“Aww. It’s not fair that you always have the best blood meal. Share this human with the rest of us, Sally. We too want a piece of him for his blood.” An envious Aiden replies in jealousy as he tears off some tissues from a nearby tissue paper roll.
“Don’t worry, I will give you and the others some vials of his human blood if only our higher-ups grant approval to make this human my blood slave permanently,” Sally tells him in a reassuring tone. “Right now, we need to ensure he doesn’t harm himself in our custody. The leader of our kind, Chief General Simon, wanted to meet him face-to-face, so we need to ship our human prisoner in good health condition.” .
“But you had injected your venom into him, right? He can’t move at all, and how are you going to let him speak when our boss, Brigadier General Rico, wants to speak to him later?” Aiden asks while passing several pieces of tissue paper to Sally.
“Don’t worry, we will bring him to our unit’s medical centre to unfreeze him later on. But first, we need to bring him to our nest for breakfast.” Sally replies while taking a piece of tissue paper to wipe off blood from her face before using the rest of it to clean off blood from the bite wound on Kodey’s wrist. “Welcome to hell, Kodey Zander. This is just the beginning.” Sally taunts Kodey before using a finger movement to control his movements.
‘Fuck you, bloodsucker!’ Kodey curses Sally in his mind while staring at her with deep hatred coming from his eyes, as his own body lifts from the bed against his will before finding himself in a sitting position.
“Oh, my! You are so desperate to take me out, and my other fellow Raven, aren’t you?” Sally muses before using a hand movement to control his movements by ordering him off the bed and then controls his movements to a nearby wheelchair before sitting down. Once fully seated, Sergeant Darrell tied both Kodey’s hands to the armrest of the wheelchair with cable ties. Upon seeing the human prisoner fully secured, Sally approached Kodey and used her right hand to turn his face towards her. “If you try anything funny, I will not hesitate to use your body movements to hurt you even further. The control of your body is mine now.” .
‘Don’t get cocky, Young Templar Sally Flannery. The day you show your weakness, it is the day I will tear down your face mask and put a bullet straight into your forehead.’ Kodey tells himself mentally as he avoids looking at the two Raven Young Templars.
“He’s tied up completely. We are good to go to our nest for breakfast.” Aiden tells her.
“Alright, Aiden. Lead the way while I push the wheelchair of this damn loser scum.” Sally replies, and Sergeant Darrell gives a nod in acknowledgement before walking towards the door to unlock it.
“Time to go, loser scum.” Sally jeers at Kodey and then pushes the wheelchair out of the cell room. While on the way to the dining hall to have breakfast, a few Raven Young Templars stare at a lifeless Kodey sitting in a wheelchair. “Hey. Isn’t that the son of the renowned American human scientist?” An unnamed Raven Young Templar softly comments to another fellow Raven. “It is. However, I have been hearing rumours that his birth mother is a spy sent by humans to infiltrate us to foil our plan to assassinate his human father.” The other unnamed Raven Young Templar replied.
Outside the building, in the sky…
Unknown to the Ravens, an unknown UAV flies around Fort Drum undetected. While flying, the drone rotates its camera to face down, looking at the military base.

At the same time…
“Have you spotted the human prisoner yet, Corporal?” An unnamed Tri-Sixer Staff Sergeant asked.
“Nothing new for now, Staff. By the way, this military base is enormous, and it will take some time for me to search everything.” The unnamed Tri-Sixer drone operator replies as he stares at the screen of a military laptop. As he looks at the screen, he spots some movement on the road. “Wait, is that…” The unnamed Tri-Sixer drone operator says as he looks at the screen closely. “Spotted something unusual?” The unnamed Tri-Sixer Staff Sergeant asked.
“Look here. I see two Ravens escorting an unknown but possibly human prisoner sitting in a wheelchair. I can’t be one hundred percent sure, but from what I see, this prisoner is not wearing sunglasses or a Young Templar’s face mask.” The unnamed Tri-Sixer drone operator replies.
“Interesting.” The unnamed Tri-Sixer Staff Sergeant comments as she looks at the military laptop screen carefully before issuing the next set of instructions to the drone operator. “From what I observed, I strongly suspect this prisoner could be Kodey Zander. Corporal, I want you to continue to observe their movements and see where they are heading. I’m going to have breakfast with the others and will be back twenty minutes later to pass you your food. Hold up for a while, alright?”
“Roger that.” The unnamed Tri-Sixer drone operator nods at her before turning his face back to the screen.
Chief Raven Officer's Office, 2nd Floor, 88th Regiment ‘Ravens’ HQ, Fort Drum, New York, USA, 12 December 2020, 0756 hrs
Meanwhile somewhere in an office…
The Commander of all Raven Young Templars, Brigadier General Bettino Rico, is sipping his cup of coffee while looking at the screen of his PC monitor. On the screen, it displays a classified report of the Zander family. While scrolling through the report, he came across a picture showing Daniel Zander, his wife, and two children.
‘Nothing out of the ordinary family. Daniel just married a normal human after all. What in the name of our faith does Chief General Simon want to go after his children so badly?’ Bettino asked himself in his mind while looking at the picture. However, he spots something similar on the face of Daniel’s wife. “Wait. Is that a scar that I have seen before?” Bettino tells himself as he inches slightly closer to his PC monitor screen.
Knowing that the scar looked familiar, he opened the document tab to find a personal record file. After spending some time searching for the file, he found it and clicked it open. The screen then displays the entire details, and a small picture of a person. As he looks and compares the small picture with Daniel’s wife, he quickly realises that both of them have the same scar in the same position.
“Well, well, well, Mrs Zander. We had won in the end by handing over your son to Chief Simon and turning your daughter into one of our kind. We will use them to correct your unforgivable sins that you committed against us,” Bettino smirks in amusement.
