Buy Me a Coffee

Hour 2.

I can’t seem to wake up, my eyes keep trying to stay closed. There were many postit notes on my wall. One of it in big, bolded fonts, says COFFEE, so I guess I need coffee. Or maybe it was a prank because my coffee tasted disgusting. Not only does the coffee taste like a rusted iron, but it also gave me a shock too. As if the bad coffee isn’t enough of a wake me up. Maybe that was what the COFFEE note is for, to alert me to the bad tasting coffee and the electrocution that follows. Or maybe it’s telling me I should just throw out the coffee machine now, but I don’t think I know how to do it.

There are a lot of books in the living room, each one with a different label for a different month. I guess my daily routine was always the same, based on a few entries I read across the books. I wake up, drink terrible coffee accompanied by an electric shock, and spend the morning trying to figure out everything. This book is blank. At least this page is, that’s why I’m writing here. The calendar says November and so does the cover of this book. I think I’m right.

The morning is a little quiet, so I switched the TV on. I don’t know what channel this is, but the dialogues are hilarious. My laugh surprised me, but to be fair, pretty much everything surprises me. I guess the previous entries another me wrote was right, and after I snorted the coffee out of my nose, it makes sense that this would be my favourite show.
