Chapter 1: Beginning of the Horizon
Long ago, we believed that space and the universe were boundless due to the constant expansion of space, but we have now reached its limits, its beyond!
Our greatest, smartest, and most brilliant scientists from around the world joined forces and were able to restore their former glory, popularity, and significance. They rapidly advanced technology and science, albeit at a tremendous cost. Every scientist knew that sacrificing one great scientist for the sake of science was a bad idea, so they used their connections with each state to obtain licenses for human experimentation. The states gave them the go-ahead but with major conditions. One of the main conditions was that no one should know what experiments they were conducting, lest they cause mass hysteria. Otherwise, all the scientists who were members of this organization would be liquidated and lose their licenses.
The year was 20XX. Scientists hid their actions from the world, providing the media and general public with false information. For the sake of science and the development of humanity, they documented 500,000 people. The first great invention was using microplastics as fuel for submarines.
The seventh invention was using nanites to cleanse the body of kidney stones and destroy weak viruses without causing harm or requiring surgical intervention.
The year is 21XX.
The tenth invention was a silent, invisible, flying robot observer to study almost all species of animals. This invention led to enormous progress in biology and animal behavior without human intervention.
Our development has grown at an incredible geometric rate with each century, decade, and even year. Unfortunately, this progress comes at a very high price: human lives and much more. In the year 2XXXX, scientists recorded the sacrifice of the two billionth person for the sake of science and the advancement of humanity.
