Blue stood in Wu Jin's office, Kwan's sword at his throat. Blue exhaled. In an instant Ilho and Jinhu moved from behind Ryul. Ilho appeared to Kwan's right, both butterfly swords pressed against his ribs. Jinhu appeared behind Kwan, he wrapped his arm around his throat, holding him in a tight lock.
Kwan stared at Ilho for a moment and the arm around his neck. He didnt struggle or try to fight. His attention turned back to Blue.
Wu Jin took a sip of tea. "Well, this ought to be interesting."
Yeol sighed and gestured. "Let him go."
Jinhu and Ilho both looked at each other, then to Blue. "It's fine, just let him go." Blue nodded.
The Sword Saint leaned back in his chair. "Well. Ryul looks like you beat me to it." He grinned and took a long sip of his tea. "I brought Kwan because he deserved to know the truth. No point in carrying weight into a gate. Better he hears it now, gets his emotions in order, than finding out in the gate somehow, and dying."
Kwan lowered his sword and turned to the Sword Saint. "What the hell is going on?" He demanded. "What truth? I thought we were here to tell these commoners to stay out of our way during the gate?"
Blue raised a brow and stared at Kwan, but said nothing.
"No Kwan, you're not here to posture or pick fights. We're here to make sure we are all on the same page." Gyeom stood. "If my brother is sending us to a gate with Blue in tow. It means he is either trying to get us under his heel. Or he means for us to not return."
Wu Jin nodded. "So you all need to be able to trust each other."
"Everyone else and their mother knows now, you may as well know the truth too Kwan." Blue took a step forward.
"Kwan have a seat, let him tell you who he really is." Gyeom said, pointing at a chair next to his own.
"Tch. You said if I want to know someone, cross swords with them, you'll understand them by the end." He pointed at Blue. "So let me cross swords with him."
Yeol looked at Blue. "Can you prove it with your sword?"
"That's up to it, not me. But his high and mighty attitude is really pissing me off. So, yeah we can cross swords." Blue unsheathed his Jian.
Blue closed his eyes. "Please let me use the qi as I did with Ryul." He thought to himself. The system replied.
[Denied]
"Fuck, okay then." Blue and Kwan both let their qi flow.
Yeol looked at Gyeom. "When did Kwan reach 2 star Grandmaster?"
"When did Blue reached 2 star Master?" Gyeom grinned.
Neither Blue nor Kwan made a move, they stared at each other. Kwan finally moved. As he dashed forward, Blue watched. "Yeah. This wasn’t smart. He's way stronger, I don't know if I can block this." He thought to himself. He raised his jian and braced, he closed his eyes.
CLANG.
"Wait... what?" Blue opened his eyes.
In front of him purple hair flowed in front of his face. So-Yeon stood in between him and Kwan's strike. She looked at the elders in the room.
"You idiots, you rip me a new one about Blue's safety, then you allow this?" She looked at Kwan. "Sheath your sword, you imbecile." She turned to Blue. "What is going on here?"
Blue sighed. "That's what I'd like to know. Why are you here?"
"Answer me first. I did just save you from alot of pain." So-Yeon smiled.
"Kwan just found out because of Ryul's mouth the truth about me."
"How dare you get in the mid-" So-Yeon snapped her head back at Kwan. "I'm sorry, you were saying how dare I what?"
Kwan hung his head and sheathed his sword. "Nothing, sister."
Cheng stepped forward. "Ryul, Ilho, Jinhu. Please wait outside." The boys bowed and gave Blue a concerned look and left.
"What brings you here Matriarch?" Cheng asked.
"One thing at a time." So-Yeon gestured towards a chair. "Sit Kwan."
Kwan sighed and took a seat.
"All these years of him being stubborn, all I needed was to get you involved So-Yeon?" Gyeom sat back in his chair.
"Someone mind telling me why a grandmaster was allowed to attack a Master in front of you all. And you just watched?" So-Yeon asked.
"I allowed it. His cocky attitude was pissing me off." Blue took a step back and leaned against the wall. "I raised him better than that."
Kwan gripped the arms of his chair. "Raised me? What the fuck are you talking about?"
Wu Jin exhaled and his hand covered his face. Yeol and Cheng both chuckled. Gyeom stared at Kwan with a blank expression.
"I'm saying, you were a stubborn kid. But never a bully. You've let being a part of Namgung go to your fucking head." Blue crossed his arms.
"Why does some kid younger than me, openly talk to me like this and you all allow it?"
"Because, what are they going to do huh? Kill me? That's what you expect? They know the truth. Ryul said it, you heard it. But you're too busy feeding your own pride. You'd rather be tough than use the brain Buddha gave you. So get it through your thick skull. I AM JIUNG!" Blue kicked off the wall.
Kwan stared at Blue, then looked to the elders. They each of nodded. He looked at So-Yeon. "I didn’t believe it at first either Kwan. But I promise, it's true."
"Jiung? Really? How?" Kwan asked.
"This is the last time I'm doing this today, seriously." Blue walked next to So-Yeon. "I don't know how. I was reincarnated on a different planet. I awakened when I went through a golden gate and ended up back here. Now I'm here and apparently, my existence isn't a fucking secret to anyone."
Kwan stared at Blue and didn't say a word. So-Yeon grabbed a chair and sat. "Well, I guess i will break the tension."
"Yes, why are you in my office?" Wu Jin asked.
"To warn you all. My sister is snooping around." She said. Yeol and Cheng looked at each other. Blue looked down and shook his head.
"She suspicious of Blue. I'm not sure where her loyalties lie, so be careful. She runs probably, the best Intel network in Murim. Her men, she calls them shadows, are strong. No one knows who they are or what their levels are. We need to be mindful of her."
Blue laughed. "No we don't."
"What do you mean we don't?" So-Yeon looked at Blue.
"She knows too, she figured it out on her own. In fact, she wishes to join Silent Edge. She doesn't trust the Alliance, and she knows what the Leader is up to."
"Oh. Wait. When did you speak with her?" She asked.
"Today, after I met with the Alliance Leader and Jaegal Li." Blue said.
"Why did you meet with them?"
Blue turned to Wu Jin. "Sir, I am really tired of answering everyone's questions today. Those two know everything. May I go?" Blue pointed to Cheng and Yeol.
"You may." Wu Jin chuckled.
"Take Kwan with you." Gyeom gestured.
Blue bowed. "Come, little brother. I'm starving." He turned to So-Yeon. "Thank you. But seriously, they will answer your questions."
Kwan looked at Gyeom shrugged his shoulders and walked out behind Blue.
As they left the office, the boys were still standing there. Waiting.
"So you're alive, that's a plus." Ilho said.
"Yeah and we've gained another brother i see." Jinhu wrapped his arm around Kwan's neck.
"Im happy you know Kwan, and that you're here." Ryul smiled.
"Yeah, still alot to process. Food, I need food too."
"You'll fit right in." Ilho chuckled. "So, how did you meeting at the Alliance go Blue?"
Kwan looked at Blue and laughed.
"The next person that asks me a question, is getting choked out." Blue laughed. Ilho looked at Ryul and shrugged.
"Someone's pissy today." Jinhu looked at Blue then ducked, as a rock flew past his head. Jinhu looked up, cracked his knucles and chased Blue all the way to the dining hall.
