Christmas is coming again with all the decorations surrounding our home. The tree is as white as snow, a contrast to the red ornaments hanging on it.
I'm rolling the new red carpet on the floor when I heard my phone ring. Immediately, I ran to the windows.
One, two... He did not even let me finish counting in my head when I saw his hand. He's here again, hiding behind a tree, watching me. And there it is again, the same old rugged piece of cloth he's been holding everytime I see him. Every single time.
I was about to stuck my forehead on the glass window to take a closer look, but instead, I gasped. The first time in the past 2 years, he showed his face. It was very rustic. Like a caveman left in the mountains for too long.
He was watching me from his place. His deep set of midnight eyes is challenging me to come and look closer.
I was about to...
Not until I heard the doorbell ring.
