Imagine a world where the heroes are (arguably) as bad, if not worse than the villains. This short story offers a glimpse into this world, following Dani, an alcoholic Serbian gangster who has forsaken her life of crime to become a hunter. She is accompanied by her partner and roommate Ian - a cowardly vampire who struggles to find a job in IT. Together they fight the malevolent forces of the unknown, facing off witches, monsters, and any other vermin lurking in the darkness. This is the second prequel of the Dani Dark book series. It centers around the main character and the beginning of her quest to take down an evil ancient sorceress.
